Domaine A Cabernet Sauvignon 2003 - Magnum
A warm season in the valley. Even the 2002 winter was warmer than average, as were the low rainfalls. August’s warm temperatures meant budburst came early and it was one of the hottest summers on record. In January the average temperature was 3.5 degrees above normal. At the end of February came the first summer’s rain which continued throughout the month. With March, before the harvest, we began to experience more typical weather patterns.
This Domaine A Cabernet Sauvignon is rich and intense with concentrated, complex fruit balanced with natural acidity and firm, elegant tannins. A complex wine with persistent length, and a popular choice among staff and friends for drinking at the moment. Drink now or wait (if you can) until 2025.
